About the DropTop Single 29 Light
The Single Light 29″ is the most compact DropTop we make. A 29″ ultrawide gives you meaningfully more horizontal workspace than a standard 24″ enough to run a few applications side by side without switching, in a unit that sits neatly in even the smallest room.
Arrives ready for self-assembly so you choose exactly how and where your screen and accessories are installed. The same sustainable EGGER MFC board, the same clean finish, the same considered details as every DropTop.

The DropTop Single Light 29″ is a wall-mounted fold-out home office desk compatible with a 29″ ultrawide monitor or a standard 24″ monitor. It is the most compact model in the DropTop range, designed for smaller rooms, spare bedrooms, or any space where a full-size home office setup needs to fit without dominating.
Quality hinges and soft-open pistons are rated to 50kg. The 2cm cable cavity and drillable back panel allow for clean, flexible installation. Color-matched cover caps conceal all fixings. A slim monitor mount is included as standard.

What’s it made of?
DropTop is built from EGGER MFC board, the same material chosen by the world’s leading interior designers and architects for premium interiors. It looks and feels stunning, resists scratches, abrasion and fading, and carries antimicrobial surface properties. And the main reason we love it is because it is carbon negative: the wood stores more CO₂ than is emitted during its production and transport.
What EGGER have achieved is genuinely remarkable: a board that performs without compromises in every measurable way – scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, color retention, structural integrity – while being built almost entirely from recycled wood and forestry by-products. It was once considered an impossible combination, they proved otherwise. All wood is from verified, legal sources and all plants are FSC and PEFC certified. Our heavy-duty drywall fixings spread the load across a wider surface area, so you never need to worry about weight limits or hunting for a stud. Fixings and drill bits are included. Just drill, hang and enjoy.
Double drywall
Two layers of drywall bonded together create a surprisingly solid wall and DropTop installs on them with ease. Our specialist fixings bite firmly into the combined depth for a secure, no-compromise mount. Same simple process, same everything-included kit.
Brick wall
The most straightforward installation of all. Brick walls are solid, reliable, and DropTop goes straight in with no compromise. Everything from drill-bits, screws and wall plugs rated for the job is in the box.
Dot & dab
These walls have a solid surface of block, brick, or concrete sitting directly behind the drywall. It’s a simple, clean installation straight through into that solid backing, giving you a rock-solid mount. Everything you need, including drill bits, comes in the box.
Renter friendly
DropTop is designed for easy, low-impact removal, ideal for renters. When it’s time to move out, simply take the desk down and fill the small fixing holes for a clean, barely noticeable finish.
